David Koepp talks Indy IV!:
Screenwriter David Koepp (Spider-man) talked to Filmstew about his Indiana Jones IV script! He didn't reveal any details about the story nor casting but chatted a bit about the writing process, hey, had to post something today... here are a couple of clips from the interview;
"I spent about a year on it, first doing drafts with Steven and then doing drafts with Steven and George. It was a lot of fun. The first thing is that you realize this is a beloved character, probably one of the most in film history, and a lot of people are going to be angry no matter what I do.
I worked with Steven a number of times but never with both of them Spielberg, Lucas. They're big guys with big opinions and it's definitely a challenge, but a challenge worth stepping up to.
People have a lot of preconceptions about what it ought to be and that's the same kind of pressure you feel with Indiana Jones. It's hard to write when you feel the audience looking over your shoulder, but you just try and put it out of your mind."

Superman Returns co-writer Michael Dougherty wants to make the sequel action-packed, check this out; "We're talking. We're bouncing ideas around with Bryan. Big ideas. Action-packed ideas. I think it's going to be a more action-oriented film. Again, the easy comparison to make was X-Men to X2, or Star Trek The Motion Picture to Star Trek II. I mean, I know that Bryan has said he's going to Wrath of Khan it, and by that he means, 'Let's take what we've already established-we've gotten that out of the way-and let's just make it shorter, tighter and more action-packed."
