Doug, Woody, Bobby and Dudley, four good friends, all having a midlife crisis. Doug (Tim Allen) is a boring dentist, Woody (John Travolta) a former successful businessman but lost his job and wife, Bobby (Martin Lawrence), well, isn't the man of the house anymore but his wife is, and Dudley (William H. Macy) is a naive computer nerd. The men want more in life and Woody comes up with a plan to get on their bikes and hit the road! Just the guys and their Harley! The road trip turns into one wild journey that test their friendship and even confronts them with real bikers, led by the tough Jack (Ray Liotta).
Wild Hogs is one of those films that already is worth a look because of the amazing cast. It must have been pretty hard for Van Wilder's Walt Becker to keep those guys with ego's in control. But he did it, Becker makes sure that the movie doesn't revolve around stars like Allen or Travolta but gives each character the deserved attention. The wonderful chemistry between the actors compensates the pretty predictable story. Especially the brilliant William H. Macy scores with his role as the clumsy Dudley. Also keep your eye open for cool cameos, like Orange County Chopper's Paul and Jr. Teutul. There isn't more to say about this movie, Wild Hogs is a fun and entertaining road flick with a great cast.
